About The Trust

The name Bhandup is derived from Bhandupeshwar, one of the names of the Hindu god Shiva. An old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Bhandupeshwar Mahadev Mandir, is located in Bhandup (west) near Moti Bai Wadi IDUBS high school. Sonapur signal is north lead line on L.B.S. Marg and south is dockyard colony.

BHANDUPESHWAR MAHADEV MANDIR was formed in year December 1949. The re-establishment (Jirnodhar) was done in 2002. At Bhandupeshwar Mahadev Mandir, Ram Darbar - Radhaakrishan Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, Batuk Bhairavji, Kal Bhairavji, Sithla Mata, Santoshi Mata, all these mandir's development was done. We have also done Pratishta of Vaghashwari Mata, Maha Laxmi Mata, Saraswati Mata, Maha Kali Mata and Gauri Mata on 10/05/2002.
